The oldest sweetshop in England

Stone building with a sign reading "The Oldest Sweet Shop in England." A vintage bike decorates the wall. Set in sunlight, year "1661" above door.
Cozy candy shop with baskets of sweets, colorful jars on shelves, and vintage posters. Sunlight filters through window with bunting.
Two open wrappers on a dark surface reveal pink round candies and black-and-white striped sweets. Wrappers have a star pattern.

The oldest sweet shop in England, and in my opinion definitely the best. They even let you order in quarters!

Although this blog is supposed to be reducing my waist line by making me more active, I think I will be making regular visits to North Yorkshire's Pateley Bridge!
